Timothy D. Ford*, Of COunsel

Timothy D. Ford is Of Counsel with Brake Hughes Bellermann LLP. Mr. Ford's practice focuses on the representation of high-technology clients in connection with strategic patent counseling, prosecution, and licensing. His technical experience includes a wide range of chemical and mechanical technologies, including medical devices, medical diagnostics, and consumer products.

Prior to joining Brake Hughes Bellermann LLP, Mr. Ford spent almost a decade working for Cooley Godward Kronish LLP. While at Cooley, Mr. Ford's practice focused on strategic patent counseling, licensing, prosecution, and patent litigation.

Mr. Ford earned his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School in 2002. During law school, Mr. Ford was a member of The George Washington Law Review. Mr. Ford received a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Brigham Young University in 1999. Mr. Ford has published several manuscripts in journals such as The Journal of Chemical Thermodynamics and The Journal of Molecular Liquids. Prior to completing his undergraduate studies, Mr. Ford lived in Costa Rica for nearly two years, where he became proficient in Spanish.

Mr. Ford is admitted to practice in Virginia and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
